Under the general supervision of the ACCJC President/CEO, the Vice President is responsible for providing leadership in planning, developing, coordinating, and evaluating the ACCJC’s accreditation processes and practices. The Vice President works closely with the agency’s member institutions to ensure and enhance higher education quality in the Western region.
Director of Accreditation Processes
Under the general supervision of the Vice President, the Director of Accreditation Processes manages and facilitates several key aspects of the Commission’s peer review process. These include processing substantive change applications, facilitating educational programs, working with the peer reviewer database, assisting with establishing evaluation site teams and planning their visits, preparing correspondence with member institutions, and providing general support for related Commission functions.
Executive Assistant to the CEO
The responsibility of this role is to provide executive-level administrative support, acting with little supervision and taking initiative to anticipate needs and solve problems. The ideal candidate has an extensive history of working with complex issues, ensuring high-quality outcomes, and interacting with others in a highly professional manner. Diplomacy, sound judgment, and excellent communication skills are essential to this role.
