ACCJC Standards Review

Peer Writing & Peer Reading Teams

Teams of peers from the field are working collaboratively with ACCJC to develop the initial draft of the 2025 Standards. The Peer Writing and Peer Reading Teams are comprised of faculty and administrators at ACCJC member institutions, and reflect the professional, institutional, geographic, and demographic diversity of ACCJC’s membership. Peer Writing Teams are charged with developing the initial draft of the Standards and criteria for review. Peer Reading Teams are charged with helping to refine the initial draft of the Standards and criteria for review prior to broader discussion in the field.

The work of the teams is organized around five broad content areas related to Accreditation Standards; each content area has an assigned Peer Writing Team and Peer Reading Team. Within each content area, the work of the teams is facilitated by co-leads – one from the field, and one from ACCJC staff.
